Gail Thompson is a DONA certified Birth Doula in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area of North Carolina. She has supported dozens of women in experiencing birth-- their way. In her spare time, Gail is a trained Lamaze Childbirth Educator and hopes to be certified soon. She is also a certified Hypnobabies doula and a member of the Triangle Birth Network.

Gail is committed to helping women embrace pregnancy and childbirth as a life-enriching, life-empowering experience. She feels privileged to share in a woman's miracle of birth and transition into motherhood.

As a childbirth educator, Gail presents women and their birth partners with strategies and information to make the baby's birth a mutually satisfying and rewarding experience.

When she's not supporting or educating birthing women, Gail loves to cook, sew, read and write. One of her goals is to go whitewater rafting and parasailing with her two grandbabies once they are old enough to join her.
